CSU Bakersfield men’s basketball coach Rod Barnes won the Hugh Durham Mid-Major “Coach of the Year” Award by College Insider.
The award is part of College Insider’s annual awards presented at the Final Four, which was held in Phoenix this year.
Barnes was a first time recipient of this award. He was also the 2017 Western Athletic Conference ‘Don Haskins Coach of the Year’ for the second season.
This is Barnes’ sixth season with the Roadrunners.
