BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Starting Wednesday, construction on California State University, Bakersfield’s GET bus turn-around will restrict entry to the campus from Stockdale Highway, according to college officials.

In result to the construction, Don Hart West will be closed at Stockdale Highway in both directions.

CSUB said Lots A, B and C will be accessible only from CSUB Way via Student Way.

According to officials, the closure is anticipated to last until August 2 and is part of the first phase of the two-phase Golden Empire Transit $500,000 project.

During the duration of the project, bus service has been relocated to Don Hart Drive East (in front of parking lot J).
