BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Ahead of Cal State Bakersfield's graduation next Friday, May 24 school officials have announced there will be a record number of graduates.
This year, a reported 2,300 graduates is scheduled to walk across the stage with 12 receiving their bachelor's degrees. The total number of graduates is up nearly 30% from last year.
CSUB will also be recognizing its first ever doctoral graduating class.
The ceremony is scheduled for Friday starting at 7:30 a.m.
