CSUB beats Cal, advances to next round of NIT

CSUB came in as the #8 against #1 Cal but thanks to an offensive explosion in the first half, the Runners pull off the upset.

The CSU Bakersfield men's Basketball team has advanced to the next round of the NIT Tournament, beating #1 California 73-66.

The Runners move on to next round to play Colorado State. The date has not yet been determined.

This is CSUB's second consecutive year in the post-season.
