Cal State Bakersfield is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with activities all month long.

CSUB's Hispanic Heritage Month starts on September 15 and runs through October 15. Events include dance classes, discussions, and speakers, including speaker José M. Hernández on his journey to becoming a NASA astronaut. 

The first event will be a performance of El Bracero - A Mariachi Opera on Friday, September 14 at 7:30 p.m. at the Dore Theatre.
