Rape accusations have decreased at Cal State-Bakersfield, according to the University's 2019 Clery Report.

The report shows four reported accusations of rape in 2017, but none for 2018.

Burglary also decreased in the 2018 school year, with one reported incident. In 2017 there were four reports.

However, Clery statistics show that there was an increase of reports with certain crimes, including liquor law referrals and motor vehicle theft.

In 2017 there was 12 liquor law referrals, compared to 33 referrals in 2018.

There was one reported case of arson, stalking and domestic violence.
