A CSUB employee involved in an embezzlement case took a plea deal on Thursday.

Angela Mora, who embezzled $40,000 between Dec. 17, 2014 and April 4, 2017 from CSUB pleaded no contest on Dec. 7.

As terms of her plea deal Mora will be sentenced to 120 days to be served in the work release program, three years felony probation and will have to pay $44,348.15 in restitution to CSUB.

Mora will be sentenced on Jan. 8, 2018.
