It was standing room only at Wiki's Bar and Restaurant in Southwest Bakersfield as thousands of fans filled local bars to cheer on The Runners.
All in anticipation for this afternoon's game, a game that was a must win and by now we know The Runners will not be moving on in the NCAA tournament.
But for fans who have followed Cal-State this year it was all about just getting to the big dance.
"It's definitely accomplishment for the Town and the school itself. They're making history attending the tournament, it's definitely exciting," said, Andre Smith Jr.
Many fans said their excited for what Cal-State will be able to do next season. For now we will just have to wait.
