CSUB hosting several events celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — In Celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, CSUB is hosting a long list of upcoming events.

According to the school's website, the scheduled events will feature educational activities, food, dance lessons and spoken word.

The next event, Brown Bag Discussion, is scheduled to kick off Thursday, September 19 at noon. The United Now for Immigrant Rights (UNIR) student leaders Valeria Veliz and Andrea Guevara will discuss how to be an ally and advocate advocate for undocumented students during our current immigration crisis.
