The Office of Grants, Research and Sponsored Programs and the Institutional Review Board at CSUB will be hosting the 2018 CSU IRB Forum on Thursday, September 13 and Friday, September 14.

The forum is titled, "New Common Rule, New Growth!" and is being hosted for the first time by CSUB. They will be discussing the newly revised Federal Policy for the Protection of Human Subjects and its implementation, student research projects and IRB review, data security, international research projects and other relevant topics.

The conference will also feature a webcast with guest speaker Misti Ault-Anderson from the U.S. Office of Human Research Protections.

The event will be held at the Student Union Multipurpose Room and will include IRB collegues from all 23 CSU campuses, CSUB staff, faculty, students and community professionals.
