BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — California State University Bakersfield is marking its 50 year anniversary in October, to celebrate, they will have a special guest speaker at a virtual event.
Sir Richard Branson, the founder of the Virgin Group will speak.
Branson will also participate in a Q&A session at the event.
The discussion will be moderated by CSUB alum Representative Kevin McCarthy.
Musicians and other speakers will also take the virtual stage to celebrate the college.
The event will take place Oct. 1 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
