Cubbies Chicago Style Pizza announced that they will be closing their northwest location as part of a larger re-branding operation.
The restaurant recently announced the move on Facebook, "We thought that opening another location was a great idea, in reality, Bakersfield is just too small for two Cubbies Pizzas."
In addition, the company plans to open a new restaurant in the location with a new name and look.
"The re-brand is very exciting with new menu and decor. Zeppo’s Pizza will offer a more Italian style pizza, pasta, salads, desserts."
The closure, which is slated for November, will not affect their southwest location.
As a thank you to the restaurant's customers, Cubbies is offering them a special deal that includes a free medium pizza when they buy an extra-large.
