Four California State University, Bakersfield students came forward and said there was a data breach with their CSUB account system.
The account system is like a portal that has financial and other sensitive information.
It all happened over the past 3 weeks, but there was also a report of a data breach back in August.
A bulletin was sent out to all students to be safe and guard their information.
Everything is under investigation.
