A deadly crash has been reported in the area of Highway 99 and 7th Standard Road, California Highway Patrol dispatchers reported Tuesday.

The two vehicles crashed at around 10:20 a.m. on 7th Standard just west of Highway 99, dispatchers reported.

The Kern County Coroner's Office has been called to the scene.

Traffic is slowing in the area of the crash.
