The Fresno County Coroner's office said that a brother and sister from Arvin died from an Interstate 5 crash that occurred early Tuesday morning. The man has been identified as Luis Mendez Jr., 25. The girl has been identified as Ariana Mendez, 14. 

According to California Highway Patrol as reported by ABC 30, the fatal crash occurred when a semi-truck which carried Mendez and a female passenger slammed into the back of two other semi-trucks that had stopped due to slow traffic. Officers said that both passengers in the vehicle that failed to slow down died.
