UPDATE (JAN. 16): The Kern County Sheriff's Office has released the identity of a passenger who was killed in an accident on Herring Road. According to the KCSO, 20-year-old Alondra Alvarez was the passenger in a vehicle that left the road and crashed on Jan. 14 in Arvin.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly rollover crash that happened just before 9 a.m. on Saturday night southwest of Arvin, on Herring Road, just west of Edison Road.
There is no further information at this time regarding this crash, this is a developing story.
