UPDATE:

The Kern County coroner has identified 18-year-old Angel Adrian Carranco as the victim of a deadly shooting that happened last week in McFarland.

A postmortem exam was performed and the coroner declared Carranco cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds and the was a homicide.

ORIGINAL STORY:
The McFarland Police Department is looking for suspects connected to a deadly shooting that happened early Friday morning.

According to McFarland police, just after midnight officers were called to the area of San Juan street and East Kern Avenue.

When they arrived they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

The man was pronounced dead on scene.

No arrests have been made and anyone with information regarding the incident is urged to call McFarland police at 792-2121.
