DELANO, Calif. — Baseball fans in Delano are celebrating recent improvements made to a local baseball field with little league games and an opening ceremony.

The field received new fencing and new lighting thanks in part to County Supervisor David Couch.

The opening ceremony will be held today at 10 a.m. After the ceremony, the community will celebrate with two t-ball games and a 12-year-old little league baseball game.

The field is located at 100 South Lexington Street in Delano.
