DELANO, Calif. (KERO) — The Delano City Council is scheduled to elect a new mayor on Monday night.
The special meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday.
The council votes among themselves about who will serve as mayor and the mayor serves a one-year term.
Currently the city is represented by Mayor Bryan Osorio who has announced that he plans to run for congress.
