DELANO, Calif. — An investigation by the Delano Police Department led to the arrest of a registered sex offender.

Officials with the Delano Police Investigations Division said on December 17 they investigated Ricardo Carrasco Morales and found that he was a sex registrant living within the City of Delano.

Morales reportedly did not notify the Delano Police Department that he was living within the City of Delano jurisdiction.

On Friday, Morales was taken into custody and charged with being in violation of sex registration requirements.
