DELANO, Calif. — Delano police have arrested a man after he allegedly entered a 12-year-old girl's bedroom through the window naked.
The Delano Police Department said on Thursday around 6:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 12th Avenue and Fremont Street for a nude man inside of the victim’s home.
Officials said 34-year-old Rodolfo Luis Ramirez Rodriguez of Delano had forced his way into the home by entering through a bedroom window, where a 12-year-old girl was sleeping. The girl reportedly was awakened by Rodriguez, who was walking around her bedroom naked. She was able to escape her room and tell other family members inside the home, according to police.
That's when family members came into her room and found Rodriguez attempting to dress himself. Police said Rodriguez got away through a window.
When cops arrived on the scene they found Rodriguez in the neighboring backyard completely nude.
Rodriguez was taken into custody for Burglary, Annoying & Molesting a Child under 14, Obscene Exhibition, and Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.
