According to a Facebook post by the Delano Police Department, officers are still searching for a suspect involved in a 2017 armed robbery. On Monday, January 23, 2017 the suspect entered a Walgreens located at 1435 High Street and produced a black handgun before demanding money from the cashier.

The suspect then fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. According to Delano Now, the suspect is described as being possibly "a white male adult, aged between 27-37 years old, standing between 5'10 and 6'2 with a slim build."
