Delano Police Department to hold virtual town hall to discuss crime concerns in the city

DELANO, Calif. — The Delano Police Department will be holding a virtual town hall meeting on Wednesday, July 15th starting at 5:30 p.m.

The meeting will allow the community to ask questions, address concerns, and share their input concerning crime in Delano.

Chief Robert Nevarez will begin the meeting with an opening statement. Yolanda Chacon with Mothers Against Gangs will also speak, along with Officer Dixon who will talk on gang awareness.

The town hall will be conducted virtually through Zoom on Tuesday evening at 5 p.m. To join on Zoom, use the Meeting ID 384-424-2648 and the Password: delano2020.
