This Friday the Delano Police Department will be cracking down on people driving under the influence or without a license.
DPD will hold a DUI and driver's license checkpoint somewhere within the Delano city limits starting Friday. It's happening between 6:30 p.m. Friday and 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Officers say they'll be looking for people with signs of alcohol or drug impairment. Drivers caught driving under the influence can expect jail time, fines, and fees.
