Delano Police are looking for a car they believe is connected to a fatal hit-and-run in Delano Friday night. 

On Dec. 1 just before 11:30 p.m., Delano Police officers responded to the area of County Line and Melcher Roads after receiving reports of a man down.

When officers arrived, they found a dead Hispanic man with injuries consistent with being hit by a car. 

DPD is looking for a maroon Honda with front end damage and possible damage to one or more of its windows. The identity of the victim will be released at a later time by the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
