UPDATE: Delano police officials say the missing girl was found and returned home after 4:00 P.M. Saturday.
Officials with The Delano Police Department were trying to locate 7-year-old Melody Villareal when she was reported missing on Saturday morning.
Delano officials say Villareal was last seen playing in the 2200-2300 block of Princeton Street across the street from her home, at about 9 a.m.
She was reported missing to police at about 1:00 P.M and was last seen wearing a pink top.
