DELANO, Calif. — Families and students in the Delano Union School District will have a day to either celebrate or mourn the outcome of the Super Bowl.

The District reported decided the Monday after the Super Bowl will be an off day for all 12 of its schools, according to their student calendar.

The 54th Super Bowl, between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will get underway Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens at 3:30 p.m.
