A pair of Sheriff's deputies who shot a suspect in Rosamond last month have been cleared after a Kern County Sheriff's Office investigation.
Two weeks ago on Discovery Way, suspect Samuel Johnson reportedly led deputies on a short pursuit before he pulled over and pulled out a shotgun.
That's when deputies Oscar Carrillo and Cameron Beck opened fire on Johnson, striking him at least once.
Johnson was taken to a nearby hospital, where he survived and was later arrested. He's due in court on Tuesday.
