BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A shooting in Mojave left one man dead Saturday afternoon, according to the Kern County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a home at the 10,000 block of 15th Street in Mojave at 3:45 p.m. after receiving reports of a suspicious circumstance.
That's where they would find a man, who died from apparent gunshot wounds, according to KCSO.
Homicide detectives are investigating the shooting.
Another man that was located near the shooting has since been detained, KCSO confirms.
