Bakersfield native Derek Carr had his number 4 jersey retired in Fresno on Saturday to honor the quarterback's time at Fresno State.

The Raiders quarterback was joined by his family during a halftime ceremony at Bulldog Stadium to officially retire his number; his brother David's number 8 jersey has also been retired by Fresno State.

Derek accumulated 113 passing touchdowns and over 12,000 passing yards in his time as a Bulldog.

The Bakersfield Christian grad will lead the Raiders into battle against Tennessee to start the season on Sunday, September 10.
