Dignity Health Mercy and Memorial Hospital’s will be offering a free diabetes symposium.

The free event will take place on Wednesday November 15 from 2PM to 4PM at the Dignity Health Community Wellness Center. According to Dignity Health, the event will be presented in both English and Spanish.

The event will feature several free health screenings; blood pressure check, free A1C, body composition, anemia, and cholesterol screenings. Local doctors that specialize in diabetes will be available to talk to.

They will be able to provide individuals information on how to effectively manage your diabetes. 

The Dignity Health Community Wellness Center is located on t 2634 G Street in Bakersfield.
