The Department of Motor Vehicles announced Wednesday that they are expanding "Saturday Service" to 60 offices around the state including one here in Bakersfield. 

Starting August 4, the DMV office at 3120 F Street will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

DMV says this is a continued effort to ease wait times at offices; however, they say offices will remain closed on Sundays. 

Previously, the DMV expanded hours to open offices on select Saturdays, so this expands that change even more. To see all offices that will be open on Saturdays click here.
