BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A Bakersfield man is facing three felony sex charges after a child younger than 10-years-old told investigators that he had been having sex with her for two years.

Ivan Espinoza, 33, was arrested on July 7, and is being held on $1,000,000 bail. He has been charged with having sexual intercourse or sodomy with a victim 10-years-old or younger, having oral sex with a victim 10-years-old or younger, and lewd and lascivious acts with someone 14-years-old or younger.

According to court documents obtained by 23ABC News, the victim told a relative about Espinoza's alleged actions. That relative then called Kern County Sheriff's deputies.

The victim told investigators Espinoza had been having sex with her "almost every day for the past two years."

Deputies executed a search warrant at the home where the acts allegedly happened and investigators seized bedding, clothing and an iPhone. Deputies also completed Sexual Assault Response Team kits -- also known as a rape kit -- on both Espinoza and the victim.

Espinoza has already pleaded not guilty to the charges and is expected back in court on July 19.
