BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Bakersfield Police are investigating a report of child abuse after a 15-year-old girl said her father beat her with a PVC pipe.

Court documents obtained by 23ABC News show officers were called to Mira Monte High School on March 12 for a report of child abuse.

The victim told police that on the day before, her father was upset with her because she had her boyfriend in her bedroom with her. She claims he told her "Your actions and decisions have consequences, things are going to change. I'm going to beat your a--."

She says her father then took her to the garage at their home and told her "You can run around the garage or you can just come here and take it."

She told police her father then hit her multiple times in the back of her thighs with what was described as a white PVC pipe. The victim told police she begged him to stop, but he wouldn't, and continued until she started crying and started to choke. She told police she thought she was going to vomit.

The victim told police she didn't know how many times she was struck, but that the incident lasted about two minutes.

According to the documents, investigators found brusing and several welts on the back side of the girl's thighs.

No arrests have been made at this time and no charges have been filed.
