23ABC is learning new details about the arrest of a Tehachapi High student who allegedly threatened to shoot up the school back in May.
Court documents show the student, who is a minor was wearing a costume mask in a crowded gymnasium. The boy reportedly told other students that a blue-tooth speaker he had was actually a bomb and that everyone was going to die. The student also said he was going to have the speaker play gun shot noises to "scare" everyone.
Police arrested the student on campus in suspicion of making criminal threats and took him to juvenile hall.
No explosives or firearms were found.
Investigators say the same boy was the primary suspect in another Tehachapi High threat made in 2017.
