A dog left behind during the evacuations of the Goose Fire was found by Fresno County Sheriff’s Deputies on Sunday afternoon.

Kiya, an older Husky who is nearly blind, was covered in the red fire retardant that had been dropped by air tankers. She was not injured.

Deputies took Kiya to a small animal shelter where she was reunited with her owner.
