BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Dolores Huerta Foundation announced that it is hosting a Census 2020 Town Hall Thursday.
Officials with the foundation said the town hall is apart of its community outreach "campaign to increase Census participation in Kern County’s hard-to-count areas."
Organizers will reportedly educate the community on the importance of being counted in the upcoming 2020 Census and give members an opportunity to voice concerns and ask questions about the Census.
The town hall will take place at the Local 220 Labor Union at 2201 H Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301. The event starts at 5:30 p.m.
