BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — April is celebrated nationwide as Donate Life Month, but this month will be a little different.
National Donate Life Month was instituted by Donate Life America and its partnering organizations in 2003. The entire month is focused on
local, regional and national activities to help encourage Americans to register as organ, eye and tissue donors and celebrate those who have saved lives through the gift of organ and tissue donation.
With the ongoing spread of COVID-19 and the incredible speed at which things are changing, Donate Life America is encouraging the public and the donation and transplantation community to cancel all in-person events for National Donate Life Month.
