A can of donation money has been stolen from Magoo's Pizza in Northeast Bakersfield.

An employee of the pizza shop, created the donation jar to help cover the funeral cost for Angel Mulley. A mother, who died in a car crash on Sunday night on Taft Highway. 

Surveillance video from Magoo's shows what appears to be a young girl leaving the restroom looking at the counter and then taking the donation jar.

Since placing that jar on the counter Monday afternoon residents in town had already pitched in over $100.00.

Magoo's management believes they may have seen this girl in the surveillance video and that she may have been a previous customer.

23ABC tracked down the department investigating this case and we found out, it's the Kern High School District's police department in charge. 

Officials said they are investigating the situation.
