BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — A 13-year-old juvenile is in critical condition after being shot in Lamont Sunday night.

According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to the 8300 block of Segrue Road, where they say a drive-by shooting occurred at about 7:30 p.m.

Deputies are searching for the suspect, who they believe was driving a green jeep.

Roads are restricted in the area.
