BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Drivers may encounter delays Friday if traveling through Bakersfield and need to head east on Highway 58.
The southbound Highway 99 connector to eastbound Highway 58 is closed due to emergency roadway repair, according to CalTrans.
Traffic is being rerouted to exit at California Avenue and detoured.
It's expected to reopen around 5 p.m. Friday, according to CalTrans.
