A man was arrested on Thursday night after a two hour standoff.
KCSO says the suspect, 34-year- old Johnny Youngblood was wanted for a pursuit that happened on Sunday. Deputies received a call that he was seen near Lamont late Thursday night.
He was located and another short pursuit ensued, but Youngblood got away again.
He was found a few hours later at this home on Center and Pentz Street. A perimeter was set up in the neighborhood while KCSO unsuccessfully negotiated with the suspect.
sWAT was deployed and Youngblood surrendered about two hours later and was taken into custody without incident. KCSO said the owners of the home are his acquaintances.
Youngblood faces several charges including resisting arrest, charges related to the pursuit and a previous felony for possession of a firearm.
