UPDATE (Feb. 16, 2017, 1:46 p.m.): According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, there was a woman on the bridge indicating that she was going to jump.

However, KCSO notified the California Highway Patrol about traffic control and the situation was resolved, including the woman not jumping.

There is increased police activity on eastbound Highway 58 near the Brundage Lane off ramp.

California Highway Patrol is indicating there may be a possible jumper on the bridge just west of Union.
