Easter weekend events throughout Kern County

Do you have plans this Easter Weekend? We've gathered events all throughout town where you can celebrate Easter!

Blessing Corner:

The Blessing Corner will be holding a celebration which includes a holiday dinner and a scroll hunt! The event begins at 11 a.m. on Sunday and is free of charge to attend!

Valley Bible Fellowship:

Valley Bible will be hosting a Golden Egg Hunt from Thursday through Friday where they will be hiding 300 eggs throughout the greater Bakersfield area. If you find a golden egg, you have the chance to win a prize at any Valley Bible location.

Prizes include: gift cards, tablets, bicycles and iPads

On Sunday, Valley Bible will host special Easter service times at 8 a.m., 10 a.m. and noon.

Houchin Community Blood Bank:

The Houchin Community Blood Bank is hosting a Spring Blood Drive and Easter Egg hunt on Saturday, April 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both Houchin donor centers.

There will be two hunts, one scheduled at 10:30 a.m. and at 12:30 p.m., only at the Bolthouse location. This years event will feature mystery jumbo eggs and whoever finds the golden egg will receive an Easter Basket.

Springtime Easter Hunt:

The Springtime Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 20 at Dr Martin Luther King, Jr Park starting at 10:30 a.m.

There will be over 12,000 eggs to be found!

Murray Family Farms:

On Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Murray Family Farms will be hosting "Easter Fun on the Farm." There will be an all-day easter egg hunt, egg decorating, berry picking and you can even meet some baby chicks!

Lifehouse Church & Oildale Community Action Team:

On Saturday at 10 a.m. till 2 p.m. you can attend a Easter Egg Hunt, enjoy food, a petting zoo, jump-houses and more all for FREE at North High School as the 2019 Easter Fest will be held!

Kern County Museum:

Enjoy an Easter and spring-themed day with crafts and games from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday! Included with general admission to the museum.

Easter Fest in Wasco:

On Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. LifeHouse will be hosting a free easter egg hunt and celebration at Barker Park. There will be free food, games, contests and music!
