BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — An 18-year-old woman was arrested for murder after a man was shot multiple times in East Bakersfield.
According to the Kern County Sheriff's Office, officers were called out to the 3500 block of Tony Street just after 7 a.m. Sunday morning.
When officers arrived, they found a white man dead with multiple gunshot wounds in his front porch.
KCSO says shell casings and blood evidence were found at the scene.
18-year-old Veronica Perez was arrested Sunday for first degree murder and conspiring to commit a crime. She is expected to appear in court on Wednesday, May 29 at 3 p.m.
