According to KCSO, a 79-year-old male was assaulted by a juvenile during a robbery in the 300 block of Roberts Lane in Oildale.

KCSO says the juvenile is currently in custody and the elderly man has moderate injuries.

The Kern County Sheriff's Office is still investigation the sitiuation.
