On May 12, 2017, the Bakersfield Police Department’s Vice Unit, along with Alcohol Beverage Control Agents conducted an undercover prostitution suppression operation in the city of Bakersfield.
The operation resulted in the arrest of eleven individuals for prostitution, and one arrest for obstruction of justice.
Additionally, one of the arrestees was found have three outstanding misdemeanor warrants. This operation was funded through the ABC GAP grant.
