BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Elizabeth Smart, the victim of one of the most followed child abduction cases of our time will be speaking at the Power of the Purse event on Friday, April 26 at the Gardens at Monji.
Smart will share and inspirational message on what it takes to overcome trauma, find the strength to move on and reclaim one's life.
Power of the Purse is an event where women come together to support survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault while shopping for designer handbags, purses and accessories.
General admission tickets are $150 at the door and online tickets can be purchased until April 25.
