The Erskine wildfire is now 80% contained in its 8th day and now burning nearly 47,000 acres.
Officials say their latest assessment of the fire is more than 300 homes have been damaged or destroyed, as well as an AT&T cell phone hub which affected cell service in the Lake Isabella area.
There are currently more than 1300 firefighters battling back the blaze.
