Experts are predicting a bad flu season as we get closer to the end of summer.

Australia currently has more than twice the number of flu cases compared to what it had last year, and nearly twice as many deaths. 

Experts say our flu season in the Northern Hemisphere is almost always similar to that of the Southern Hemisphere. 

So far, Australia says its flu shot matches the strains going around, so experts hope this year's shot here in the United States is effective.
